Fertilizers from biogas digesetate and ammonia recovery

Biological materials, such as the digestates that derive from anaerobic fermentation, livestock manure, sewage sludge, wastewater, can give a valuable contribution  to soil conditioners and to plant nutrition.

In fact, considerable amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and sulfur are contained in these materials in addition to the organic substance.

When using these materials on reduced surfaces of agricultural land, however, the high presence of nitrogen can create some problems for the environment, such as pollution of groundwater and eutrophication of the seas.

The way ADNEX technology reduces or eliminates the nitrogen content and operates the phosphorus sequestration.
